ADM launches expansion of its “re:generations” regenerative agriculture program. After successfully enrolling more than 1 million acres in 2022 in the United States, the company is expanding the program to cover 2 million acres in 2023. The goal is 4 million acres globally by 2025.

“With a value chain that spans more than 200, ADM has an unmatched ability to scale regenerative agriculture practices around the world,” said Paul Scheetz, director of Climate Smart Ag Origination at ADM.

The expansion will offer growers in 18 U.S. states and three Canadian provinces financial incentives and technical support to implement practices including cover cropping, enhanced nutrient management and conservation tillage.

ADM is encouraging various practices and performance outcomes covering crops such as corn, soybeans, peanuts and wheat. Producers who sign up receive premium payments ranging from $25 per acre per year and, in some cases, also receive an additional premium per bushel of grain delivered to ADM.

The company says it will continue to expand the availability of Farmers Business Network's Gradable digital farm management tool to simplify the "re:generations" sign-up process.

Additionally, technical assistance partners will provide support to producers on a state-by-state basis, including explanations of program details and qualifications.

In July and August, ADM program managers begin holding in-person informational meetings.
