Brazil exports 39,6 million bags in the 2021/22 harvest and obtains record revenue of US$8,1 billion
The result represents a 13,3% drop in volume, but a 38,7% increase in value compared to the 2020/21 cycle
Grazielle joins Syngenta as a continuation of a solid career, built in large companies such as BRF, Diageo and Mondelez. In parallel to her new role, the executive will continue to serve as President of the Brazilian chapter of the BRICS Woman Business Alliance, Fiscal Advisor to the Women of Brazil Group, and Advisor to the CNI's National Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FNME).
Graduated in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Grazielle has an MBA in Marketing from FIA/USP and a postgraduate degree in Public Policy also from FGV. Still on the academic side, the professional teaches at the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance and at ESPM.
The then Head of Business Sustainability, Valter Brunner, announced his retirement after 14 years at Syngenta. Recognized and admired inside and outside the company, the executive made a series of contributions on fronts such as Corporate Affairs and Business Sustainability. Valter will remain with the company until September this year and will actively support the transition to Grazielle Parenti's leadership.
