Seedcorp highlights five cultivars at SuperAgro 2024

The soybean cultivars HO Ijuí (54SC122 i2x), HO Prata (67SC115 i2x), HO Paraguaçu (64HO130 i2x), HO Pirapó (64HO114 IPRO) and HO Tibagi (61SC115 i2x) are presented by Seedcorp at SuperAgro 2024, which runs until 19 January in Londrina.

“We hope to demonstrate the competitive advantages of our launches, mainly cultivars with Trait Intacta 2 Xtend, the third generation of biotechnology in soybeans, which allows even more productivity to crops”, explains Eduardo Brandalize Vespero, market development and licensing manager from the company.

The combination of events MON87751, MON87708, MON87701 and MON89788 was developed by Monsanto (belonging to Bayer). Its objective is to provide tolerance to glyphosate and dicamba, as well as resistance to insects of the lepidoptera order. Characteristics are introduced into species through conventional breeding (cross-hybridization and selection involving a transgenic donor).
