Nidera Sementes presents varieties at Dinetec 2024

Nidera Sementes highlighted corn and soybean cultivars at Dinetec 2024. NS 79 (SS2315E VIP3), registered in August 2023, was one of the new ones. This corn variety contains the transgenic events Bt11, MIR162 and GA21, which makes it resistant to insects of the lepidoptera order and tolerant to the herbicide glyphosate. The NS 89 (SS2322E VIP3) has the same characteristics.

In terms of soybeans, the cultivars emphasized were NS7676 IPRO and NS7902 (BW1955231IPRO). In both there is a manifestation of the biotechnological events MON87701 x MON89788. This makes the varieties resistant to some insects and tolerant to the herbicide glyphosate. These varieties are also resistant to nematodes.
