The National Council for Financial Policy (Confaz) extended to December 1st the mandatory deadline for rural producers to issue the Electronic Consumer Invoice (NF-e). The request for extension had been made by the Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation (CNA) and the Organization of Brazilian Cooperatives (OCB). The measure was published today in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU).

Confaz is made up of the Finance Secretaries of the 26 States and the Federal District. The CNA defended the extension for producers with annual revenues below R$1 million, in internal product marketing operations.

For rural producers with revenue above R$1 million (2022 values), the issuance obligation begins on May 1st, in internal and interstate operations.
