Adama Ltd. announced Maxentis fungicide in Europe. It is a pesticide with the active ingredients azoxystrobin (133 g/L) and prothioconazole (100 g/L).

According to company information, Maxentis will be used against diseases in wheat, barley, rapeseed and others. Some of the fungi identified as targets of the product: Alternaria brassicae, blumeria graminis, Fusarium sp. Puccinia hordei, Puccinia striiformis, Pyrenophora teres, Ramularia collo-cygni, Rhynchosporium secalis, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum e Zymoseptoria tritici.

“Farmers across Europe have expressed the need for more versatile and broadly labeled products that can serve multiple crops and combat a range of diseases without requiring them to juggle a complicated product mix,” says Alex Mills, " global head" of fungicides at Adama.

Today's announcement is related to another, made on January 16, 2024, in which Maxentis was mentioned as a launch along with Soratel, Forapro, Maganic and Avastel (read here).
