Bayer has new data solutions business development leader for Latin America

Guilherme Belardo assumes the role with the responsibility of bringing Bayer AgPowered services and the Microsoft Azure data manager to the market

Guilherme Belardo recently assumed the role of "data & cloud solutions business development lead" for Latin America at Bayer ("data and cloud solutions business development lead", in free translation). Among his duties, he is bringing Bayer AgPowered services and the Microsoft Azure data manager to the market.

Before joining Bayer, Belardo had a role at Climate FieldView, where he led FieldView partnerships and integrations for Latin America, as well as developing new business models for partners. With the purchase of Monsanto by Bayer, he was integrated into the German company's team.

Previously, he worked at CNH Industrial. He served for more than five years. His last position was agricultural product portfolio strategy manager for Latin America. In this position, Belardo was responsible for managing the portfolio of agricultural products, such as sugarcane harvesters, tractors and sprayers, and for defining financial strategies and regional strategic presentations.

Furthermore, among others, his professional journey includes leadership roles at AGCO Corporation and Valtra Inc., where he contributed to the development and commercialization of agricultural products in South America.

An agronomist graduated from the Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz, Belardo has a post-doctorate in economics - digital AG and a PhD in agricultural mechanization from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho.
