Adama reinforces global executive team

Adama Ltd. announced the expansion of its executive team with the addition of Florian Wagner e Ruthie Zeltzer. These appointments come at a time when the company's revenue has declined 16% to US$4,661 million (year 2023).

Adjusted Ebitda was $407 million, compared to $740 million in 2022. Adama recorded an adjusted net loss of $236 million and a reported net loss of $225 million. (See tables at the end of this article)

Florian Wagner assumes the role of executive vice president (EVP) of portfolio and innovation, bringing a dynamic approach to the complete lifecycle management of the company's portfolio.

With a distinguished 17-year career at Syngenta, where he held several ascending management positions, Wagner has a proven track record in product development and launch, as well as robust experience in marketing, portfolio management, digital transformation and strategic planning. He has a degree in Industrial engineering from Georgia Tech and a Dipl. Wirtsch Ing. from the University of Karlsruhe.

In the role of EVP of People, Ruthie Zeltzer will be responsible for strengthening Adama's organizational culture, ensuring its resilience amid the constant evolution of the crop protection industry. Zeltzer will focus his efforts on promoting the company's "People-First" culture.

With three decades of experience in a variety of sectors, including pharmaceuticals and high technology, Zeltzer brings an international perspective to Adama, with operations in the United States, Latam, Russia and Israel. His latest position as VP HR Lead for Merck Animal Health, part of Merck Pharmaceuticals, highlights his ability to lead with effectiveness and passion. Zeltzer has a degree in psychology and criminology from Bar-Ilan University, Israel.
