The agricultural engineer Walter Dias (pictured) was recently promoted to the role of Global Head of Research & Development at UPL. Dias has more than two decades of experience in research, development and global product marketing strategies.
He has been with the company for more than three years, and has held the positions of director of Innovation, Research and Development Brazil and director of Regulation, Research and Development for Latin America. The executive also held strategic positions in companies such as BASF, holding positions focused on R&D project management, global insecticide research management and others.
