The organization of Agrishow 2024 announced changes to its infrastructure to receive around 195 thousand visitors from April 29th to May 3rd, in Ribeirão Preto. In its 29th edition, the event will bring together rural producers, professionals and agribusiness technicians from all over Brazil and the world. This year, there will be more than 800 national and international exhibiting brands, including more than 100 first-time exhibitors.
In addition to leading national companies in various segments, Agrishow will also feature the participation of business groups from countries such as Italy, Spain, Germany, Colombia, the Netherlands, China and Hong Kong. To facilitate access to credit and encourage new business among fair visitors, several financial institutions will also be present during the five-day event.
To guarantee a better experience for visitors and exhibitors, the event organizers made investments in infrastructure, such as food, bathrooms, hydration and mobility points. The food courts will offer a greater variety of meals and there will be 13 in total, with restaurants, snack bars and food trucks.
In addition, the bathroom structures were expanded and their operation was remodeled to offer more comfort and practicality to visitors, who will also have several hydration points.
In relation to mobility, the plan for 2024 included the widening of internal roads, expanded parking areas and optimized their access with the aim of absorbing the flow of visitors as quickly as possible to the fair areas. Promoting even more convenience, since January it has been possible to purchase parking tickets in advance through the official Agrishow website, speeding up the process of entering the event. Sem Parar and Taggy services will also be accepted in the on-site parking lots. There will still be alternative parking spots throughout the city, such as the NicNet Arena and the Mont Blanc and Wyndham Garden hotels, allowing visitors to leave their cars and use a free shuttle to the fair.
Visitors to the fair will find several technological innovations during the fair. Among the solutions presented will be tractors, agricultural machines and implements, precision agriculture. family farming, storage (silos and warehouses), correctives, fertilizers and pesticides, irrigation equipment, safety equipment (PPE), construction machinery, livestock products, insurance and others.
"The Brazilian agricultural machinery industry is prepared to meet Brazil's demand. It has invested a lot in recent years and continues to invest to increase and modernize its production capacity. This will be seen at this year's Agrishow", explains João Marchesan, president of Agrishow.
In 2023, Agrishow recorded R$13,290 billion in business initiated between exhibitors and visitors, representing an increase of 18% compared to the previous edition. For 2024, the expectation is positive in the sense that business volume will be similar to last year, without sudden drops or increases.
In relation to the generation of local and regional business, the fair is expected to stimulate the movement of more than R$500 million in the economy of Ribeirão Preto and neighboring cities, considering visitor spending on transport, accommodation, food and other activities . In addition, around 7 thousand workers must be accredited to work in some way at the event, whether in assembly, execution or disassembly.
Tickets for the fair are being sold on the event's official website (agrishow reg. The second batch of tickets is available for purchase and costs R$70,00. A new feature for 2024 is that visitors must choose, at the time of purchase, the day of the week on which they would like to go to the fair. For those who prefer to make purchases at the box office on the days of the event, the daily entrance fee will be R$ 120,00.
In addition, it is possible to purchase a parking ticket in advance, for R$60,00 per access for cars and motorcycles, while vans, minibuses and buses pay R$100,00 per access. During the event, cars and motorcycles will pay R$65,00 per access.
