The professionalization of the drone market has opened up countless business opportunities in Brazil, notably in the inspection, logistics and agriculture sectors, which make the most of the potential of these unmanned equipment. With this in mind, MundoGEO will hold, from May 21st to 23rd, the DroneShow Robotics fair, at Expo Center Norte - Pavilhão Amarelo, in São Paulo (SP).

The event will feature an exhibition of today's most modern drones and a wide program of seminars and courses for those who want to undertake and operate in this market. One of the focuses of the fair will be to present the latest in drones for agricultural spraying, which has grown increasingly after the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) made the use of this equipment for this purpose more flexible.

“Unofficial estimates indicate that Brazil has more than 10 thousand drones carrying out spraying work in the field. The potential for use in the country is 50 drones doing this work, due to their speed, precision and lower cost compared to other processes with the same purpose. As a comparison, China, with an agricultural area similar to ours, already uses more than 100 thousand drones for spraying”, observes Emerson Granemann, CEO of MundoGEO.

DroneShow Robotics is a fair that has taken place annually, since 2015, in São Paulo. The last edition, in 2023, had more than 5.700 participants from 33 countries, 150 speakers and 120 participating companies.
