DVA announces return to the agrochemicals market in Brazil through Agroallianz SA

The DVA Group, of German origin, reported that it is resuming its activities in the Brazilian agrochemical sector with the launch of the new Agroallianz brand. After a hiatus that began in 2015, when it ceased operations due to contractual issues, the group returns with investments in technologies for fertilizers, adjuvants, and now, agrochemicals.

According to press information, Agroallianz introduces 22 new products to the Brazilian market, including fungicides, insecticides and herbicides, in addition to a portfolio of specialties that had already been developed. With an investment of more than US$80 million in specialties, the company plans to expand its portfolio to 44 products by 2028, aiming for annual revenue of around US$100 million in Brazil.

“In 2023, there were US$8 million in the specialties segment alone, which is also recent. However, by 2025, the expectation with agrochemicals is to jump to US$ 25 million. In other words, three times more every year”, explains Fernando Fernandes (in the photo), general director of Agroallianz SA

The decision to re-enter the Brazilian agrochemicals market takes into account the consolidation and significant demand of the sector in the country. Fernandes emphasizes the importance of offering innovative solutions that complement technologies already known by producers, aiming to improve the use of the genetic potential of agricultural crops.

Agroallianz is a closed limited company, that is, it does not trade its shares or others on the securities market. It is headquartered in Campinas and its directors are Fernando Fernandes de Oliveira and João Paulo Aleixo.
