Baldan announces Fernando Capra as new CEO

Executive takes on the role from May with the aim of continuing Baldan's growth in the market

Baldan, one of the leaders in the agricultural implements segment in Brazil, announces the hiring of Fernando Capra (in the photo) as new CEO. The executive will take on the role from May, and arrives with the mission of continuing Baldan's growth in the market. Capra has more than 30 years of experience in national and multinational organizations, leading businesses and operations in Brazil and abroad. 

The executive has previously worked for Grupo Santa Rosa, a company dedicated to pig farming for more than five decades, is a Member of the Superior Agribusiness Council (Cosag) and will succeed Celso Antonio Gusmão Ruiz, who held the position at the company for 18 years. Ruiz now assumes a position on the company's Board of Directors.

Celso began his career at Baldan in 1983 as a young apprentice, having held several prominent positions until reaching the position of CEO in 2006. Throughout his career, he personified the company's values ​​and vision through his dedication to sustainable growth, increasing not only financial performance, but also the positive impact on society and the environment. 

“Under his leadership, Baldan has become synonymous with excellence not only in products and services, but also in its ethical and responsible approach to business,” states the Baldan Board. “Fernando, with his vast experience, will bring perspectives that will certainly be fundamental to continue Baldan’s growth, maintaining his tireless dedication to our people and passion for sustainable growth,” he adds. 

The company, a pioneer in agricultural machinery and implements in the country, which presents technological solutions for the field, currently exports its products to more than 80 countries.
