AgroCP, the organomineral fertilizer industry, announced the acquisition of Fermavi, specialized in manganese derivatives. This strategic move marks AgroCP's entry into a new market segment. The acquisition promises to strengthen AgroCP's position in the sector, projecting revenues of R$1 billion in 2024.
Fermavi, founded in 1980 in Varginha/MG, stands out in the production and commercialization of manganese derivatives, operating in various sectors such as agriculture, animal nutrition and water treatment. It has annual revenue of around R$150 million. With an industrial park of 65 thousand m², the company has a production capacity of 150 thousand tons of manganese per year and exports to 20 countries.
Marcos Lucas, CEO of Grupo AgroCP, emphasized the company's commitment to investing in research and development, in addition to reaffirming the focus on sustainable growth and contributing to the country's economic development. The union of companies results in a total of 800 employees and four industrial units located in Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, further consolidating AgroCP's presence in the national agricultural scenario and now also in the manganese derivatives segment.
