Banrisul and Cotrijal signed a financial technical cooperation agreement. The agreement provides for the provision of rural credit to Cotrijal members, with the aim of supporting the agricultural production chain for summer and winter crops and livestock costs. The resources from the Banrisul agribusiness program have interest rates with special conditions and can be applied to financing inputs and services intended for the implementation of crops and agricultural enterprises.
The president of Banrisul, Fernando Lemos, highlighted that the institution pre-approved R$8 billion in credit for Expodireto, of which R$5 billion for the investment area and R$3 billion for funding. “This is the result of the work of the entire Banrisul team, who are committed to ensuring that our field develops even further,” he said.
For the president of Cotrijal/Expodireto, the agreement with the Bank consolidates the partnership between the two institutions. “The history of Expodireto is intertwined with the history of Banrisul, which has been with us since the beginning of this project. The numbers over the years demonstrate the commitment and vision towards agribusiness”, he pointed out.
