Adama today announced its intention to introduce the new licensed active ingredient Feralla into the European molluscicides market. According to the company, products based on the compound stand out for their rapid stop feeding effect and prolonged pellet integrity compared to current Ferric Phosphate products on the market.
According to Darren Palendar, Global Product Strategy Manager at Adama, the company sought to develop Feralla-based molluscicides based on the needs of European farmers, mainly to address their specific concerns and challenges.
Feralla's regulatory approval, according to the statement, is expected in Europe in 2024, with product launches based on the compound in the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany and other European countries.
