Soy maintains favorable development in Rio Grande do Sul

The National Association for the Diffusion of Fertilizers (ANDA) reports that deliveries of fertilizers to the Brazilian market were 42,21 million tons from January to November 2023, registering growth of 11,9% compared to 37,71 million referring to the same period in 2022. In the interannual comparison between the months of November, the increase was 6,7%, with the volume increasing from 3,74 million to 3,99 million tons.
The state of Mato Grosso, leader in deliveries to the market, concentrated the largest volume in the analyzed period (22,2%), reaching 9,38 million tons. Next are Rio Grande do Sul (4,87 million), Paraná (4,56 million), Goiás (4,52 million), Minas Gerais (4,15 million) and São Paulo (4,07 million).
National production of intermediate fertilizers in November 2023 was 597 thousand tons, representing growth of 3,1% compared to the same month in 2022. In the accumulated period from January to November, there were 6,24 million tons, a reduction of 8,7. 6,84% compared to XNUMX million in the same period of the previous year.
Imports of intermediate fertilizers reached 2023 million tons in November 3,99, indicating an increase of 70,5% compared to the same month in 2022, when 2,34 million were registered. From January to November, the total imported was 35,58 million tons, 9,4% more than in the same period in 2022, when 32,53 million entered.
