The Government of Mato Grosso launches, this Wednesday, the 27th, CAR Digital, a new system that will use satellite image technology to identify and generate the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR). The event will take place in the Garcia Neto Meeting Room, at Palácio Paiaguás, at 8:30 am.

The decree that will regulate the CAR Digital automated analysis procedure will be signed by Governor Mauro Mendes and the Secretary of State for the Environment, Mauren Lazzaretti. CAR Digital's operating model is 100% automated, which brings greater speed to the analysis of rural property records in Mato Grosso.

Considered a mandatory public registry for all rural properties in the national territory and an important environmental management instrument for the implementation of the Forest Code (Federal Law nº 12.651/12), the CAR brings together environmental information on properties, composing the database for actions monitoring, environmental and economic planning, and combating deforestation.
