Fabio Lima takes over as commercial director of Syngenta Crop Protection in Brazil

As of April 8 this year, the executive will assume the position previously held by Luciano Daher, who decided to leave the company

Syngenta announced changes to the leadership of its Crop Protection operation in Brazil. As of April 8 of this year, Fabio Lima assumes the position of Commercial Director Brazil, in a succession move to Luciano Daher, who decided to leave the company to focus on topics of personal interest. 

Lima will continue the work of intensifying the focus on customer service, strengthening the relationship and the company's portfolio of solutions and services, with innovations developed especially for the Brazilian market.

Currently Commercial Director of Key Accounts, Fabio Lima will bring his extensive experience to the new role. An agronomist by training, with a postgraduate degree in Marketing Management and a Business Executive MBA, he joined Syngenta in 2000 as RTV, having worked in various commercial and marketing areas, such as: Regional Sales Manager, Product Manager responsible for portfolio of Insecticides, Marketing Leader for North Distribution, Branch Manager for the States of Goiás and Minas Gerais, until taking on his current challenge in 2019.

Luciano Daher, who built a great legacy in the six years he was at Syngenta, ends his career at the company in April, making the transition to Fabio Lima and leaving fundamental contributions to the implementation of a commercial strategy that allowed the company to advance as a leader in Marketplace.
