Yara's Rio Grande Complex, located in Rio Grande, Rio Grande do Sul (RS), opened the new facilities of its driver service center. The structure offers more comfort and convenience to suppliers and brings greater agility in cargo transportation. The site is considered the largest and most modern fertilizer production, mixing and shipping park in Latin America.

The new facilities have an even larger space, 24-hour operation and a modern system with self-service totems for drivers. The expedition is able to receive between 400 and 500 trucks/day due to the automation of yard management and bagging and loading equipment for the mixing units.

“With the remodeling of the service center, we made the space more functional, improving the user experience, which is an extremely important link for the food chain”, highlights Lucas Elizalde, director of Yara Operations for the South region of the country Around 5% of national fertilizer production is carried out at the site, which has an operational capacity of 1,1 million tons/year of granulation/production and 2,2 million tons/year of mixing and bagging.
