Emater expands wheat areas to hot regions of Minas Gerais
Emater-MG and Epamig create wheat demonstration units in several regions of Minas, including the North and Vale do Jequitinhonha
Mosaic Fertilizers inaugurated a new hiring cycle with the opening of 18 vacancies, with work scheduled to begin in June this year, at the Palmeirante Mixing Unit, in Tocantins, located in the municipality's Integrator Terminal. The project is currently under construction, and operations are scheduled to begin next year.
Interested parties can submit their applications through the company's official website or by taking their CVs to the collection points until April 30th. They are the Palmeirante State School, located at Avenida Tocantins nº 1.340, in Palmeirante; Sine, located at Rua Presidente Dutra, nº 243, in Colinas; and Senai, at Avenida Dom Emanuel, nº 1.347, in Araguaína.

The selection process consists of 3 stages, including CV evaluation and interviews with company managers. Those recruited will work in Mosaic Fertilizers' operations in the city on a face-to-face basis, with an environment that encourages professional growth in one of the largest national agribusiness companies, which has sustainable development throughout the entire production chain as part of its strategy.
The appointments are for: 1 Administrative Coordinator; 1 Maintenance Supervisor; 1 Production Supervisor; 1 Plant Controllership Analyst; 1 Warehouse I; 1 Warehouse II; 1 Purchasing Assistant; 4 Shift Leaders; 1 Maintenance Planning Technician; 1 Senior Quality Technician; 1 Occupational Safety Technician; 2 Electrical Technicians; 2 Maintenance Technicians.
Vacancies include benefits such as medical insurance, dental insurance, chartered transportation, life insurance, PPR (Results Participation Program), Private Pension, gym allowance, Food Voucher, cafeteria, Employee Assistance Program (Apoiar), Wellbeing Program (Wellness), Maternity Leave extended for six months and School Material Assistance.
Last year, Mosaic Fertilizers announced an investment of R$400 million, aiming to expand the company's presence in the Matopiba region (Maranhão, Tocantins, Piauí and Bahia), an important agricultural region in the country and is part of a strategy that will extend the serving the region of Vale do Araguaia (MT) and the North of Goiás. Operations are scheduled to begin in 2025, employing around 200 people.
The company predicts that, in the first year of activity, the unit will produce 500 thousand tons, reaching annual production capacity of 1 million tons in 2028. Taking into account the region's growth, the estimate is that the volume of fertilizer deliveries will reach the mark of 9,3 million tons between the years 2025 and 2032.
With the project, the state of Tocantins, the largest soybean producer in the North of Brazil, is expected to increase its production from 5,477 million tons to 7,174 million tons, which represents an increase of 31%.
