Acadian Plant Health, a Canadian biosolutions company based on the seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum, invests in the area of formulators – partner companies that manufacture sustainable products with Ascophyllum extract – restructuring the team, strengthening the commercial structure and adding value. In this expansion movement, Ricardo Dias (in the photo), Head Business for Brazil and Paraguay, previously responsible for serving companies, incorporates the new area of formulators under its umbrella. “With the support of specialized professionals, we will seek better results and offer better solutions for our current and future clients. The focus is on Acadian’s recognition and growth around the world”, highlights Ricardo Dias.
An agricultural engineer specializing in administration and marketing, Ricardo Dias has more than 25 years of experience in agricultural inputs. As head of the formulators area, he starts working with Thiago Moya, market development manager for formulators.
The biostimulation market currently generates around US$350 million in Brazil, an amount that is expected to more than double in the next 5 years. “Acadian works to offer partners the best technologies for plant nutrition and abiotic stresses using extract from the seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum. Sustainability is one of our pillars and these internal growth movements show that we are committed to expanding the delivery of quality sustainable solutions, contributing to the continuous advancement of productivity in agriculture – and with sustainability”, concludes Dias.
