Lucila Orsini takes over as director of IT Brazil at Nutrien

Nutrien Soluções Agrícolas, a Canadian agricultural retail multinational, announces the appointment of Lucila Orsini (in the photo) for the leadership of its Technology department in Brazil. The area is considered strongly strategic for the company in terms of its priority objectives and, in her two years at the company, the executive stood out for her contribution to digital strategy.

“We are on a construction journey to support our agile, more sustainable retail model with maximum efficiency and connected to the trends and needs of Brazilian farmers. We have a broad modernization agenda, which leverages technology, data and design, combined with in-depth technical knowledge, to build relevant solutions for our customers, increasingly personalized and focused on their needs”, he says.

Lucila takes over as director in place of Ricardo Rossetto, invited to a new position in the global structure as Senior IT Director for the NPK business, at Nutrien's corporate office, in Calgary, Canada. Ricardo actively participated in the start of Nutrien's operations in Brazil and led the construction of the IT, Digital and Customer Service area, contributing to the growth of the business in recent years and acting directly in the integration of systems with companies acquired in the country and in the creation of the platform and other Nutrien digital services.
