Amazone, a German manufacturer of agricultural machinery, announced the acquisition of the Brazilian company MP Agro, specialized in fertilization technology. This strategic move marks a significant step in the international expansion of the European company, especially in the South American market. Information about values, forms and means of completing the deal were not disclosed. Approvals from regulatory bodies are still lacking.

The union between Amazone and MP Agro represents a combination of experience and innovation. “This partnership is a fusion of complementary forces. MP Agro's local expertise in fertilization and its in-depth knowledge of the Brazilian market are ideal for integrating and maximizing the use of Amazone's advanced technologies in Brazil”, say Christian Dreyer and Justo Dreyer, owners of Amazone.

According to information from the German company, Douglas Peccin, who leads MP Agro, will continue to lead operations, maintaining the existing team.

The German company emphasized that the acquisition promises to not only strengthen Amazone's position in South America, but also offer Brazilian farmers access to a wider range of high-tech and efficient agricultural equipment.
