The new generation of the Case IH Axial-Flow harvester was awarded the Red Dot Design Award. The model was recognized for its innovative design, which promises to revolutionize harvesting capacity and present a distinctive style. The awards ceremony will take place on June 24th at the Aalto Theater in Essen, Germany.

Unveiled during Agritechnica 2023, Case IH's new AF series made its global debut in North America. The harvester maintains the Axial-Flow rotary threshing and separation principle, focusing on maximizing production per engine hour while minimizing grain losses and damage. Equipped with a 785 hp (775 hp) engine, active dynamic cleaning system, 20.000 liter grain tank and 210 liters per second discharge rate, the machine also includes heads up to 15 meters.

The AFS Harvest Command technology incorporated into the new AF aims to optimize performance, reduce losses and ensure grain quality, benefiting both experienced and novice users. The design, which introduces a new aesthetic to the line, aims to highlight the unique and improved character of the machine compared to previous versions.

David Wilkie, director of industrial design at CNH at Industrial, expressed delight at the recognition. He highlights that the design of the new Axial-Flow AF seeks to go beyond a simple renovation, proposing a completely different approach to internal engineering and style.
