Bayer has announced new capability for its digital agriculture platform, Climate FieldView. The integration is with Combyne, a crop market management tool. Bayer recently acquired Combyne.
Integration enables new functionality. Farmers in the United States and Canada will be able to connect data. FieldView's agronomic data will be linked to Combyne's market and trading data. This facilitates more informed decisions.
Brandon Rinkenberger, “chief customer officer” for Climate LLC and “digital farming” at Bayer, says the new integration offers more capabilities. This saves time and increases confidence in sales decisions.
Alain Goubau, CEO of Combyne Ag, explains that with accurate data, farmers can better manage their contracts and deliveries. The integration also allows for better mapping quality. This includes specifications such as grade and discounts on delivered loads.
In a statement, the companies inform that both Combyne and FieldView are Ag Data Transparent certified. They are committed to ensuring that users control their information.
