Yoorin Fertilizers, specialized in transforming minerals into agronomically efficient fertilizers, will present the latest in organic cultivation at its stand at the 25th edition of Hortitec. The company has 90% of its portfolio certified for use in organic agriculture.

Recently, Yoorin launched a premium fertilizer resulting from a silicate potash rock grinding process that does not use chemicals to obtain the final product: Ekosil – which will be highlighted at the event. Thanks to this, the product achieved certification as an input approved for use in organic agriculture by IBD, with results confirmed by research carried out in partnerships with important institutions, such as Universidade Estadual Paulista - Unesp.

Yoorin's agronomist and agronomic and commercial manager, Yuji Ieiri, comments that this type of premium fertilizer helps reduce external dependence on potassium. "The country's great dependence, mainly on potash fertilizer, justifies the need for new fronts of mineral research for the use of alternative sources of potassic rocks to replace or associated with commonly used sources", he says.

In its latest technical bulletin, Yoorin presented results from the use of Ekosil in celery cultivation, in a region of São Paulo. When compared to the producer's conventional nutritional program, the premium fertilizer produced 23% more.

The event will be held between the 20th and 22nd of June, at Parque da Expoflora, in Holambra (SP). The organizers expect to receive an average of 30 thousand visitors and generate around R$100 million.
