Second Giuliano Pauli (in the photo), director of innovation at Superbac, entering this market is strategic, as it is part of a structured growth plan. “Working with plant protection is important for several reasons. In addition to taking advantage of the potential of our biofactory, we are now offering new, highly technological solutions in the field,” he highlights.

The fungicide Superguard contains Bacillus subtillis (BAC059 and BAC116) and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (BAC076 and BAC077). It is indicated to combat tipping over (caused by Rhizoctonia solani), white mold (caused by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum) and withering of Fusarium (caused by Fusarium oxysporum) in any culture.

In turn, the nematicide Supershield has active ingredients Bacillus subtillis (BAC004), Bacillus velezensis (BAC079), Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (BAC105) and Bacillus licheniformis (BAC 112). The pesticide can be used against Pratylenchus brachyurus, Meloidogyne incognita, Pratylenchus zeae, Heterodera glycines e Meloidogyne javanica in any culture.

Giuliano explains that, with the expansion of the portfolio, Superbac has the potential to be the main player in biotechnology for all producer demands, whether in plant nutrition, soil regeneration or pest control.
