The rural producer Caroline Schneider Barcellos (in the photo), from the Wink and Nelore Cedro Group, was elected president of the Soy and Corn Producers Association (Aprosoja TO) for the 2024/2026 period. She will be the first woman since the founding of Aprosoja Brasil, in 1990, to preside over one of the Aprosojas, created and constituted by rural producers linked to soybean cultivation. Its central objective is to unite and value the class.

“I feel honored and challenged to add strength to everything that has been built and achieved so far. I want to thank God who is the owner of everything we have and the One we serve, my family, who supports, questions, gives ideas and dreams with me of a better farm! This year, we completed 11 years in Tocantins, and we want to embark on the “New Time” that God has blessed us with. And thank all the directors who agreed to this project, it will be challenging, but we are strong and courageous! Let’s move on,” he declared.

Current vice president, she will succeed rural producer Dari Fronza. The election took place during an assembly held at the Scaramal Agrícola farm, in the municipality of Miranorte.
