Yokohama TWS, a Japanese tire company with a presence in over 120 countries, has appointed executive Elio Bartoli as its new president. His term will begin on December 1, 2024, succeeding Paolo Pompei. Paolo is leaving the position to pursue external opportunities, after a tenure marked by the company’s growth and expansion on a global scale.

Bartoli has extensive leadership experience, including the last 12 years in various strategic roles at Yokohama TWS in roles including Commercial Head of Industrial Tires and, most recently, President of EMEA and Global OE Head. His role spans the entire supply chain, commercial strategy and customer relations.

“We are thrilled to welcome Elio as our new President,” said Nitin Mantri, Yokohama’s Co-COO and Head of the Off-Highway Tires (OHT) Division. “His deep industry knowledge, strategic vision and customer focus make him the perfect leader to guide Yokohama TWS through its next phase of growth. We are confident that under Elio’s leadership, the company will continue to deliver exceptional value to our customers, partners and stakeholders,” he added.
