Ports in Paraná record a 4% increase in general movement from January to July
The increase is mainly linked to the performance of the Eastern Export Corridor of the Port of Paranaguá
Yara presents a new nutritional solution aimed at fertigation management, YaraRega Qualifresh. Focusing on fruit and citrus farming, it was designed to strengthen the growth and development of crops, enabling the "production of products with more freshness, flavor and quality".
The launch comes to the YaraRega portfolio to consolidate the company's business strategy focused on fertilizers with high added value for the producer and with a low carbon footprint. The product contains, in addition to nitrogen, magnesium, zinc and boron, potassium, 100% sulfate-based, with a chlorine-free formulation, reducing the risk of salinization and providing a suitable environment for the roots to develop further.
“YaraRega Qualifresh brings even more quality and ease to fertigation, which is the most efficient and sustainable management system in resource optimization”, he explains Paulo Yvan (in the photo), portfolio and fertigation manager at Yara Brasil.
As it contains several nutrients in a single granule, the solution simplifies the dosing and mixing process necessary for adequate plant nutrition. “All of this also strengthens our purpose of reducing the complexity of the process, making fertigation simpler and more accessible.”
Yara is training a team of 600 people, including teams and commercial partners, to properly use this practice in different Brazilian cultures.
“At Yara, our culture is that knowledge makes it grow and we want to disseminate it to increasingly help producers put into practice the most appropriate management for each crop, enabling increased productivity and the quality of crops in a sustainable manner, optimizing the use of fundamental resources such as water,” says Yvan.
According to the company, the efficiency of fertilization via fertigation reaches more than 90% when aligned with the correct product, dose, time and location. The continuous application of small doses of nutrients via drip contributes to the effectiveness of the practice.
YaraRega Qualifresh joins YaraRega Fullnutri, developed for the vegetative, growth and structuring phases of plants, and to act throughout the entire cycle in crops that require a more balanced relationship between nitrogen and potassium, such as coffee. In addition to being a source of balanced NPK, the solution, recently brought by the company to the Brazilian market, contains magnesium, sulfur, boron and zinc. Its composition based on potassium sulfate and chloride reduces the salinity of crops to increase quality and productivity.
