Yara, a plant nutrition company, in line with its new business model developed for Brazil, focused on customer experience and the digitalization of agriculture, launches two digital platforms to facilitate customer access to the company's nutritional solutions and provide more visibility and reach for partner channels, such as cooperatives and resellers.

This is E-Commerce, Yara's own platform that will concentrate the company's entire portfolio of nutritional solutions, and the Marketplace, a tool in which resellers and cooperatives can include Yara's nutritional solutions on the platform they already use regularly to sell inputs. agricultural. In both channels, the customer can select the product they want, always independently and have online support and assistance.

“Our strategy for Brazil has the transformation of the fertilizer segment through digitalization as one of the main pillars, meeting the trend in Brazilian agribusiness, which has been adopting the use of new technologies in the field, as well as the use of digital channels . With this movement, our objective is that by 2025, 25% of total product sales in Brazil will be made through digital platforms”, said Maicon Cossa, Commercial Vice-President of Yara Brasil.

E-Commerce will initially be made available to producers in eleven Brazilian states (Maranhão, Tocantins, Piauí, Pará, Espírito Santo, Pernambuco, Bahia, Sergipe, Alagoas, Paraíba and Rio Grande do Norte), but with planned expansion for the coming months. On the platform, the Yara portfolio will be divided by crops, making navigation easier for customers, in addition to providing prices and quotes in a clear and intuitive way.

The Marketplace's main differentiator is the use of the Orbia platform, the market leader in the sector and which provides partners with greater visibility, which can lead to a potential increase in reach and revenue for their businesses. The platform also has a loyalty program that will award points to farmers who purchase Yara products. The company sponsors the program's points and will support distributors with information and training to facilitate adherence to the Marketplace.

“We always seek partnerships with the main companies in the sector, leaders in their segments. The arrival of Yara at Orbia reinforces our commitment to making available in the digital environment all the necessary solutions for rural producers, offering products and services from the pre-planting phase until the moment the harvest is sold”, explains Ivan Moreno, CEO of Orbia .

“In recent years, we have adapted our operations to offer differentiated service and high-value-added solutions for each customer profile, based on the way they want to interact with Yara. And, for this, an increasingly greater entry into the digital environment is necessary. The launch of these two channels, which are complementary, will bring customers even closer to our portfolio, increase the brand's reach and strengthen relationships with cooperatives and resellers, who will be able to benefit from the high volume of traffic present on the Marketplace platform to increase revenue from their business”, concludes Chantal Ghannam, Director of Digital Solutions at Yara.
