More than half of coffee export ships delay shipments in May
Result demonstrates structural and physical limitations in the ports of Santos and Rio de Janeiro, the two main outlets for the product
Yanmar is present at the 29th edition of Hortitec, an international technology fair for horticulture, fruit growing, protected cultivation and intensive crops, which takes place from June 19th to 21st in Holambra (SP). For 2024, the company has invested in a portfolio of compact solutions, aimed at small and medium-sized horticulturists and fruit growers.
Yanmar tractors with 24, 47 and 80 horsepower are some of the brand's highlights on display during the event. In addition, visitors can check out launches on mini excavators and a generator set. “Producers will find the ideal solution to take the first step towards mechanization in horticulture and fruit growing. Our objective is to increase the sector’s productivity and competitiveness”, emphasizes Fernando Figueiredo, Agricultural Commercial Manager at Yanmar South America.
During Hortitec 2024, the brand highlights the Yanmar Solis 26. With a 9x9 transmission, this model has a synchronized reverser, high, medium and low speed range, constant mesh transmission and other differentials. Other models on display are the YM 347 tractor, with 27.6 hp and Yanmar 4TNV88 engine, manufactured to meet the needs of coffee, vegetable and fruit producers; and the Solis 80 tractor, which promises high performance in soil preparation.
From the mini excavator portfolio, the SV08, with 7.7 kW engine power and just one ton of operating weight; the Yanmar ViO17, with an operating weight of 1.740kg and a 3kW 10.1-cylinder engine; and the Yanmar ViO35, with an operating weight of 3.175kg to 3.825kg and a Yanmar 3-cylinder engine, are the new products on display.
Genset
Yanmar presents its YBG15TE generator set at Hortitec, manufactured especially for powering spray drone batteries. The solution promises to optimize applications by charging the batteries of these equipment in just 9 minutes.
