Yanmar, a Japanese multinational manufacturer of compact machinery for various sectors of the Brazilian industry, is present at another edition of Agrishow, which takes place in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo (SP), until May 03rd. The brand's participation in the fair is being marked by the presentation of a complete portfolio of compact equipment that, in addition to being dedicated to the agricultural sector, also includes machines from the civil construction sector, engines and generator sets.
Among the main highlights is the YBG15TE generator set, with continuous power of 15 kva. The equipment was specially developed to power the batteries of spraying drones. “It is an innovative solution that meets the needs of farmers who are adopting new technologies in crop spraying and increasingly demanding this service provision”, says Anderson Oliveira, Commercial Manager of Civil Construction and Power Products at Yanmar South America.
Typically, drones need three batteries to operate: one for charging, one for cooling, and one for operation. However, with the use of diesel generators, it is possible to optimize applications and charge the batteries in just 9 minutes. This means drones can operate without interruption, which increases productivity by up to 30%. Another positive factor of the model is that it is water-cooled and developed for professional and continuous use.
Construction
Among civil construction equipment, Yanmar displays a portfolio of mini excavators ranging from one to ten tons in operating weight. These are the models: SV08; ViO12; ViO17; ViO20; ViO27; ViO30; ViO35; ViO55; ViO80 and SV100. “Because they are versatile, mini excavators are a strategic investment for the farmer to perform numerous tasks, such as digging ditches and beds, preparing the soil and helping with harvesting”, says the company’s Commercial Manager.
In addition to these, Yanmar also displays the V3 mini loader, which allows working in reduced spaces, while providing agility and strength in operation.
The brand's line of hydraulic breakers with the SB20 and SB43 models are also part of the portfolio on display at the fair. Commonly used in demolition and construction in rocky regions, the implements stand out for their high performance, as they withstand all types of impacts. Although designed and ideal for use in Yanmar equipment, the brand's hydraulic breakers also serve other machines on the market in the mini category, which reach a maximum of 11 tons.
Yanmar engines
A pioneer in the engine industry, Yanmar exhibits the 4TNV98T-ZNSA diesel engine. Certified by the Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA TIER 2), the model is considered “nature-friendly” worldwide. Water-cooled by a radiator, its differentials include low levels of noise, gas emissions and fuel consumption. The model also has solenoid valves for starting and stopping the engine, a safety system with temperature and lubricating oil pressure sensor.
Another engine on display is the 4-stroke horizontal single-cylinder, TF70R. Available in powers from 7 to 23 hp, it has a direct injection system manufactured 100% by Yanmar, which provides complete integration between its components and, consequently, better performance. Water-cooled and available with a water tank or radiator, the models in this line are robust and have a cooling system designed for tropical climates, which makes it possible to work for long periods of time.
Also making up the engine portfolio, Yanmar has the 8LV370 (Z) marine sector model, with 370 hp of power. Among the differences are low fuel consumption and noise level, as well as easy maintenance and comfort for the vessels.
Another highlight is the Yanmar Solis 80 tractor, presented in the video below by Yanmar South America sales coordinator, Rafael Ribeiro.
