Cotribá and Dimicron promote debate on soil recovery after floods at Expointer 2024
Initiative takes place on August 27th, at Casa Cotribá, with the aim of discussing strategies and solutions for Rio Grande do Sul
Yanmar highlights a diverse portfolio of equipment for the agricultural sector at Expointer 2024. The company brought a wide range of solutions to the fair, including tractors with powers ranging from 24 to 105 horsepower, grain harvesters, construction machinery, industrial engines and generator sets, all aimed at field applications. The big highlight was the nationalization of the YM 347 and Solis 60 tractors, which can now be purchased with special financing conditions.
The nationalization of these models offers rural producers a significant advantage, allowing purchases through programs such as BNDES' Finame and Pronaf's Mais Alimentos. These programs offer lower interest rates, facilitating access to credit and boosting agricultural mechanization, especially for family farmers, who often face difficulties in accessing other types of credit in the financial market.
Fernando Figueiredo, agricultural commercial manager at Yanmar, highlighted the importance of these financial resources for Brazilian agribusiness. According to him, despite challenges, such as climate variations and interruptions in poultry production, the state of Rio Grande do Sul has demonstrated resilience and adaptability. Figueiredo believes that crop diversification and access to rural credit will be decisive factors for the continuation of investments in mechanization in this edition of Expointer, further strengthening productivity in the field.
In addition to nationalized tractors, Yanmar presented other solutions designed to meet the varied demands of Brazilian rural producers. The company displayed a line of tractors ranging from 24 to 105 horsepower, a grain harvester designed for smaller properties, and a series of civil construction machines, such as mini excavators and mini wheel loaders, which help in the maintenance of rural properties. Industrial engines and generator sets were also presented, essential to guarantee the energy needed for activities such as agricultural spraying with drones.
Anderson Oliveira, commercial manager of civil construction and power products at Yanmar South America, highlighted that the company offers complete solutions for all stages of agricultural production. From land preparation to harvesting to property maintenance, Yanmar equipment is designed to maximize efficiency and durability, even in adverse conditions. Oliveira emphasized the robustness of the TNV engines, which allow long working hours without compromising performance, thus ensuring adequate soil preparation and successful planting.
