The orange market in natura remains weakened in the state of São Paulo. According to employees consulted by Cepea, the flow of fruit has been very weak in recent days, which has caused a drop in the prices of early varieties and pears. In the partial average of the week (Monday to Thursday), pear oranges are sold at R$ 31,53/box of 40,8 kg, on the tree, a decrease of 4,9% compared to last week.7

For Tahiti acid lime, at the beginning of the week, prices were higher, supported by the reduction in the harvest rate. However, with weak demand over the days, worsened by the holiday last Tuesday, the 21st, prices began to fall, according to Cepea research. On balance, the partial average for the variety this week is R$ 17,47/box of 27 kg, harvested, a drop of 18,8% in the same period.
