Agritech, manufacturer of Yanmar Agritech tractors and microtractors specially developed for family farming, will be present at the 10th edition of Agrifam (Family Agriculture and Rural Work Fair), which will be held from the 2nd to the 4th of August, in Lençóis Paulista (SP ) with its entire line of products, investing in the new Harvest Plan for Family Farming announced by the federal government.

The government allocated R$21 billion to cover and finance the 2013/2014 harvest through the Family Farming Harvest Plan. Through Pronaf (National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture), the plan offers credit to producers, with an interest rate of 0,5% to 3,5% per year.

Given this scenario, Agritech believes that the opportunities that Agrifam 2013 will offer will be much greater. “We have always been focused on developing products for family farming, a sector that employs more than 70% of Brazil's agricultural workforce and is responsible for 60% of all the food that reaches Brazilians' tables. We have high expectations for Agrifam, as the fair is extremely focused on this audience and a lot of investment has been announced for the sector”, highlights the manager of Agritech's sales division, Nelson Watanabe.

The company from Indaiatuba (SP) brings its line of tractors and microtractors for family farming to Agrifam, with highlights being the 1155 lines, with a 55 hp engine and Super Narrow models and for cultivation, 1175, with a 75 hp engine and 1200 , made up of tractors with 30 hp and 50 hp engines, aimed mainly at small properties.
