Agents in the cotton lint market have been gradually resuming activities; however, liquidity is still low at the beginning of the year. According to Cepea researchers, in recent days, while buyers continued to observe the market's progress and adjust plans for 2023, sellers, in turn, even signaled interest in negotiations, making a larger volume of lots available, but at firm prices.

As for prices, they have advanced in recent days, influenced by increases on the New York Stock Exchange (ICE Futures), due to the weakening of the dollar and the appreciation of oil, which could also increase internal liquidity.
