With demand greater than supply, orange prices remain stable

Even though rains and lower temperatures have hit the state of São Paulo, the demand for oranges continues to exceed supply this week, which has supported fruit prices for producers.

In the partial part of the week (from Monday to Thursday), pear oranges have an average of R$ 36,91/box of 40,8 kg, on the tree, an increase of 3,2% compared to last week. Ruby, in turn, is being sold at an average of R$30,66/box, an appreciation of 1,8% in the same comparison.

Tahiti acid lime 

The supply of the fruit decreased significantly this month in the state of São Paulo, boosting prices. In this week's partial (Monday to Thursday), the average trading in Tahiti is R$41,48/cx, an increase of 30,7% compared to the previous period.
