Australian Nufarm launched its 2019-20 summer harvest. The company brought together a group of 60 product distributors at the São Paulo Jockey Club, who watched an exclusive night race from the Tribune of Honor. The Nufarm Grand Prize, said the company, was a night of celebration of agribusiness and the strengthening of strategic partnerships, with a view to the challenges of the harvest that begins next September.

Nufarm guests participated in the 2019 edition of the annual congress of Andav – National Association of Agricultural and Veterinary Input Distributors. “We prepared a great meeting, especially for our business partner distributors, as we do every year on the occasion of the Andav Congress”, highlighted Gilberto Schiavinato, general director of Nufarm.

In the race organized by the Jockey Club for Nufarm, the horses that competed in the race were named after star products from the Australian company's technology portfolio, such as ZethaMaxx and Crucial, two herbicides that have become allies of agricultural productivity. “Our mission is to help Brazil produce. We designed the event to seal our commitment to agribusiness and to our partners in this task”, summarized Schiavinato.

For Nufarm's executive director of marketing, Fernando Manzeppi, the characterization designed for the event in partnership with the Jockey Club, “has everything to do with agribusiness”. “The adrenaline of competition is exhilarating in our industry. Every day there's something new. We are in a dynamic market that carries forward, harvest after harvest, the Brazilian economy”, explained Manzeppi.

According to the executive, for the 2019-20 cycle, Nufarm plans to launch new products and also invest in the development of business tools that expand farmers' and input distributors' access to the company's technology portfolio.
