Partnership between Syngenta, a multinational based in Switzerland, and Rizobacter, a multinational with origins in Argentina, turns 20 years old. This year, the partnership brings inoculation technology to Brazil, developed by the Argentine company: Rizoliq LLI, the only product with up to 60 days of pre-inoculation registered with MAPA.

Ricardo Yapur, CEO of Rizobacter, and José Cricco, General Manager of Rizobacter Brazil, report that the alliance began in Argentina, in 1998, when Rizobacter served the entire seed industry by supplying and providing after-sales service in Maxim treatment. For both, the synergy between the companies' portfolios is the best possible, since large companies invest in research and development, while medium-sized companies have difficulties in these investments, but they have the strength of agility in reaching the market.

“For Rizobacter it is very important, as the companies have complementary portfolios. The idea is to reproduce the success we have had in Argentina for a long time. With this alliance, Rizobacter completes its professional treatment portfolio by incorporating the prestigious Apron RFC and Adage products and also allows access to the grain market by storing the Actellic 500 and Actellic Lambda products. At the same time, Rizoliq LLI will be available from this year to Syngenta customers”, declare Yapur and Cricco.

The CEO and General Manager of Rizobacter in Brazil believe that the partnership will facilitate the company's arrival in the Brazilian market, so that it continues to grow. This is Rizobacter's objective not only here and in Argentina, but also in other countries where this powerful alliance is already present, such as Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, South Africa, Ukraine and, soon, in Russia.

Emilhano Lima, Head Seedcare LATAM and CU KAM Brasil, is certain of the benefits that the partnership will bring to companies and their customers. “Rizobacter is a great partner of Syngenta globally, recognized for being a company focused on bringing innovative solutions to the market and this is fully aligned with Syngenta’s values”, he states.
