Copercampos Winter Field Day will have special forum on wheat

Event will take place on October 26th, at Campo Demonstrativo, in Campos Novos/SC.

Copercampos promotes on October 26th, at Campo Demonstrativo, in Campos Novos/SC, the traditional “Winter Field Day”, an event to disseminate knowledge about various cereal crops.  

Field Day will have special actions, such as the 1st Wheat Forum – Challenges and opportunities, bringing together lectures on topics relevant to development and assertive investment in the cereal. Starting at 9 am, the forum will have three lectures on the topics: Economic and market scenarios, with Leonardo Martini, StoneX risk management consultant; Winter cereals in an Agribusiness of opportunities, with Giovane Faé, Embrapa Trigo de Passo Fundo/RS and lecture on Feverworm and DON Management, with Flávio Chupel Martins, Phytopathology Supervisor at Biotrigo. 

This first edition of the forum will be hybrid (in-person and virtual), with live transmission via the Portal Destaque Rural, both on YouTube and Facebook. 

After the lectures, lunch will be served to participants. In the afternoon, the traditional visitation takes place at trials of wheat, barley, oats, triticale and rye, with the presentation of new cultivars and trials of fungicides, population and planting time.  

At 16pm, the BASF event “Cultivando Trigo” will take place, with a presentation of the company's portfolio for crop management.
