Final stage of wheat harvest confirms lower production in BR

A harvest in the final stage has confirmed the lower national wheat production. Given this, producers consulted by Cepea are firm in their prices, without great interest in negotiating, in the expectation of new valuations, based at the high level of the dollar, which makes imports more expensive.

Buyers, in turn, they are supplied with grain imported from periods previous ones. It is also worth noting that most of the mills consulted by the Cepea is expected to stop grinding next week for maintenance.

In that scenario, liquidity remains low. As for derivatives, mills only comply contracts and say that the high level of the dollar limits the reduction in prices.
