Vorax Biofertilizer undergoes testing and regulation to be offered on the international market

Vorax Biofertilizante, the first biofertilizer registered in Brazil, is undergoing tests and regulatory and registration processes to be offered to the main international markets in the coming months. Expectations for the global expansion process are positive, with sales projected to grow by more than 80% over the next 3 years.

The internationalization process began in 2019, after the acquisition of the Brazilian company Microquimica by the Spanish Tradecorp, part of the Rovensa group. Also in the previous year, the product was presented to the international market for the first time, during the 4th edition of the World Biostimulants Congress in Barcelona, ​​Spain.

"To make the product an international biostimulant, a global regulatory analysis was carried out, in order to fit the product's characteristics with the regulations of each location, with market studies and definition of positioning by strategic culture to get the most out of the product in all crops, as well as agronomic tests to adapt the positioning of Vorax Biofertilizante to the specific characteristics of all countries", says international spokesperson Jorge Aguilar, marketing director at Tradecorp Internacional.

In this way, international tests are being carried out on various crops, in order to find the best performances of the product, which presents benefits by assisting in the development of fruits, rooting and growth of shoots, as well as in the pre-flowering of annual crops.

The launch of the product on the international market follows a strategic and progressive plan, jointly between the Marketing, Sales and Regulatory areas. Therefore, the next step will be, in the coming months, to carry out a major internal launch, for all of Tradecorp's business units in the world, so that the product can subsequently be launched in foreign markets, in accordance with local and records permit. 

And, after expanding to international markets, the projections are the best. "Due to the fantastic results of Vorax Biofertilizer in the field and also because it is a biostimulant that acts on a wide variety of crops in different conditions, our projection is for great growth in global sales in the coming years", continues the spokesperson.

For Jorge Aguilar, some points differentiate Vorax Biofertilizante and, therefore, point to a positive path in its internationalization process and sales projections.

"It is a unique and ultra-efficient biostimulant obtained from an exclusive industrial biological fermentation process that differentiates it from all competitors. It is a product specifically designed for agriculture, while competitors have products originating from the food industry, which do not have The main purpose is the biostimulation or nutrition of agricultural crops. It is also based on a bacterial extract for a market that has a growing demand for products whose origin is not linked to chemical synthesis but rather comes from natural sources", he concludes.
