Vittia, a Brazilian biotechnology and special plant nutrition company, opens its new distribution center in Araguaína (TO) this Thursday (7/12). With a storage capacity of 500 tons, the site has a total area of 1501 m² and 1080 m² of built area.
The new DC will serve not only Tocantins, but also cities in the states of Piauí, Maranhão and Pará, with products with higher added value. Producers in the region, until then supplied directly by the headquarters in São Joaquim da Barra (SP), will now have a well-centralized unit and Vittia products for immediate collection.
“The location of Araguaína is strategic for our delivery logistics. Furthermore, it is a strong city in livestock farming and with growth in agriculture, which expands our business opportunities”, says Vittia’s Regional Sales Executive Manager, Juscelino Castro Silva Jr.
With the new space, Vittia has 6 CDs spread across Brazil: in the cities of Luís Eduardo Magalhães (BA), Sorriso (Mato Grosso), Primavera do Leste (MT), Jataí (GO) and Ijuí (RS).
