On February 23, the Vittia Group received the renewal of the Mais Integridade Seal, an initiative from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) that aims to recognize companies that develop ethical, sustainability, integrity and responsibility practices. Awarded in 2021, the Vittia Group now had its seal renewed in a ceremony held in Brasília. The occasion was attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, Tereza Cristina. Commercial Director Edgar Zanotto and Research and Development Director Henrique Ferro were representatives of the Vittia Group on the occasion.
To receive the renewal of the Mais Integridade Seal, it was necessary to prove the implementation of a strict compliance program, code of ethics and conduct, effective reporting channels, actions with socio-environmental responsibility, be up to date with labor obligations and not fall under any adulteration monitored by MAPA.
“The renovation reinforces our commitment to the environment, society, investors and employees. Many of the practices required to receive the seal are part of our values, that is, it is what we believe in and what is part of our history”, says Edgar. “Furthermore, it is another way to show the market companies that are truly committed to integrity, which guarantees greater business reliability.”
This year, 17 agribusiness organizations received the seal: nine for the first time, and eight achieved certification renewal.
