Vibra provides its customers in the South with fuel that is more resistant to low temperatures. In tests carried out, the fuel maintained its characteristics even in intense cold, helping to prevent the formation of paraffin crystals in the diesel, avoiding clogging of the filters, which can cause loss of power and other impacts on engine operation.
In the harshest winters, it is not uncommon for low temperatures to cause the paraffin present in the diesel structure to crystallize. Diesel Winter technology provides a reduction in the Cold Filter Plugging Point (CFPP), ensuring the performance of diesel engines subjected to temperatures of up to -- 10°C.
Seasonal product available between April and September, it can be used in vehicles and other diesel-powered machinery. According to Bernardo Kos Winik, Executive Vice President of B2B Commercial, Winter Diesel is the ideal fuel for vehicles exposed to low temperatures.
“Diesel Winter continues to respect the mandatory formulation required by the government, but is prepared for the lower temperatures in some regions of Brazil, especially the South. Vibra increasingly invests in innovation to continue evolving the product portfolio, always seeking offer better benefits to consumers. Winter Diesel not only maintains performance but also contributes to engine durability,” he explains.
The company highlights the following as benefits of Diesel Winter:
• Adequate operation of engines subjected to temperatures of up to -10°C;
• Reduction in filter clogging;
• Reduced risk of vehicle misfire;
• Reduction in maintenance costs;
• Adaptation to biodiesel regulations.
