Venture Builder SLC boosts agricultural startups

Driving transformational business models and new products and services in the agribusiness chain is the objective of Venture Builder SLC. The startup boosting program, launched under the Horizonte SLC brand, which represents SLC Agricola's innovation movement, will allocate R＄30 thousand as start-up capital for the development of each of the selected solutions.

To apply for the program, startups must be formally constituted and have part of the solution developed, without paying customers, in the areas of management, operations, financing, precision technology, intelligence and innovation, innovative products, purchase and sales platforms and education . Startups will go through registration and active search stages before being selected.

“During the development of the project, startups will have access to mentoring with SLC executives and relevant actors from the agtech ecosystem, partner hubs and other economic benefits important for their development. Furthermore, if the initiative reaches the final stage, there is the possibility of the startup negotiating potential investments with SLC Ventures, another of the initiatives that are part of Horizonte SLC”, explains the Head of Innovation at SLC Agrícola, Frederico Logemann.

The innovation ecosystem brought together under the Horizonte SLC brand also includes AgroX, a connection program with startups that is in its third edition this year -- and registration is open --, and Ideias & Resultados, focusing on intrapreneurship .
