Valtra presents technologies for agriculture in Rio Grande do Sul

At Expointer, Valtra is presenting its portfolio to serve different profiles of rural producers. “We have ideal solutions to meet each producer profile. One example is the Nova Momentum, a planter that stood out in its larger models and is now available in 18, 20, 22 and 24 row versions. The new sizes are ideal for properties in Rio Grande do Sul, which have a more undulating topography”, says Rafael Antonio Costa, Valtra sales director.

“Furthermore, it makes the ideal pair with our high-power tractors, equipment that adapts to different realities, promotes high performance, is accessible and easy to use”, he adds.

• Valtra Momentum: With versions ranging from 18 to 40 rows, the folding planter has on-board Weight Transfer technology, which offers homogeneous seed deposition depth, avoiding competition between plants during crop development. The SmartFrame system automatically keeps all planting lines in contact with the ground, regardless of the relief and even on wide bases and contour lines. The planter's singulation index (seed-to-seed dosage) reaches 99,6% in corn, even at planting speeds above 10 km/h.

• R series sprayer: developed for medium and large rural producers, with a main focus on the application of pesticides in soybean, corn, wheat, cotton and sugarcane crops. It is available in versions R530 (3 thousand liters) and R535 (3,5 thousand liters), both with booms of up to 36 meters. The onboard technology has a flow controller with nine pneumatic sections or 36 sections with electronic control, which provide greater efficiency in the application, distribution and deposition of drops, enabling savings of up to 73% in pesticides with overlapping borders.

• BS2225H Sprayer: Equipped with a four-cylinder AGCO Power engine, the BS2225H can generate 60% more fuel economy compared to other models. Its spraying circuit is controlled by a PWM valve, acting on the centrifugal pump's hydraulic motor, ensuring quick responses to operational variations and working independently of the engine's rotation, therefore without interfering with the quality of the sprinkler on folded terrain. The model is available in versions with 25 and 28 meter bars, both with automatic cutting of 7 sections and a power of 174 hp, and brings features that help rural producers, being able to increase productivity by up to two bags per hectare, such as the sensor height and leveling of bars that improves the distribution and deposition of drops. Other highlights involve the autopilot, the possibility of operating with prescription maps previously prepared with field data collection, which increase the efficiency of applications.

• T Series CVT: Available for power ranges between 195 hp and 250 hp, the T Series CVT tractor comes with an electronically managed AGCO Power engine capable of generating up to 25% more fuel savings. The greater combustion efficiency combined with the CVT transmission allows running at lower speeds and increases the durability of the hydraulic system oil by up to 80%. The CVT transmission is versatile and works with an infinite number of gears and speeds, allowing the producer to find the ideal speed for their operation.

• Hitech A4 Series: medium power tractors aimed at grain, rice and sugarcane producers, who demand powerful, robust and economical equipment. Its differential is the HiTech4 powershift 16+16R transmission, designed for smooth and effortless operation, minimizing the use of the clutch pedal and without interrupting the tractor's traction, which makes the machines reliable and economical, both with fuel consumption and under maintenance.
