Brazil is advancing in the fight against hunger, but FAO warns of the growth in the number of hungry people in other countries
The concern with providing Brazilian rural producers with the best harvesting solutions has made Valtra one of the brands that invest the most in getting closer to the customer. Proof of this is the Valtra em Movimento action, which arose from the need to publicize the brand's harvester portfolio and show its performance in the field.
In this stage of Valtra em Movimento, the BC 6500 harvester with a 30-foot Draper platform will be available for test drives. The machine is aimed at medium-sized properties, especially for farmers looking to improve the final quality of their harvest through an efficient threshing process that guarantees the lowest possible rate of grain breakage.
During their visit to Varginha, producers will be able to follow the program's activities in a real harvest situation with simulation of adjustments, evaluation and analysis of the quality of the harvested grain. The region is rich in coffee, soy and corn.
For Douglas Vincensi, harvester product marketing manager at AGCO, this initiative is an opportunity to reinforce proximity to farmers, as the good moment in agribusiness encourages investment in harvesters. “It is very important to provide this exchange of knowledge, as it is through this that we develop new technologies and present new concepts to accompany producers during the harvest.”
The action, which began in January 2013, has already passed through Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná, Goiás, São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina. After Minas Gerais, the one who will receive Valtra em Movimento from October 7th is Paraná.
